OUR MASTERS:  

Master Locho is considered to be one of the finest masters of Buddhist Paintings in the world. He is the co-founder of Centre for Living Buddhist Art and Himalayan Art Museum. He has painted several masterpieces and executed several prestigious commissions. His wisdom, knowledge and skill with which he paints the deities, is a gift to humanity. He has trained apprentices from around the globe.

Prof. Dr Sarika Singh is considered to be perhaps the only female masters of Buddhist Thangka Painting in the world. She is the co-founder of Centre for Living Buddhist Art and Director, Himalayan Art Museum. She assists the students, researchers, scholars and artists interested in learning the tradition of thangka painting and is engaged full time in documentation and preservation projects aimed at keeping the ancient tradition alive.
